Let's look at the gross job creation since January.

Monthly Job Creation 

• January 2025: ~216,000 jobs added
• February 2025: ~275,000 jobs added
• March 2025: ~303,000 jobs added
• April 2025: ~175,000 jobs added
• May 2025: ~272,000 jobs added
• June 2025: ~79,000 jobs added
• July 2025: ~72,000 jobs added
• August 2025: ~4,000 jobs lost (so technically –4,000, but if you want “total created,” this month doesn’t add to the sum)
• September 2025: ~119,000 jobs added

So, about 1.51 million jobs were created in total since January 2025.
