Sacramento may be joining Oakland, San Francisco, Hayward, and four smaller districts on the five-alarm fire list of the state’s most financially stressed districts. Living above their means. They join 32 districts on a second, cautionary list where there’s smoke but no fiscal flames — yet.

And they can't really look to the state because they're 18 billion in the hole. All this after the Federal Government gave them $67.8 billion with a B.

During the Pandemic spending went through the roof. But the schools never went back to their regular budgets. And this is always ignored. $22 Billion is spent on the undocumented. Do the math. No undocumented and you have a $6-billion-dollar surplus.
