Yes, even under the Biden administration we knew that wind and solar wasn't the go-to. We now have over 200 natural gas plants being built or planned announced.
Now only four blue states have hoped on the band wagon. The others are still pushing wind and solar. What's crazy is the fact that the states with the lower utility rates are the red states. And when you look at just electricity the blue states are almost double.
I took a comparison of my Ohio electric rate vs Sacramento. I pay a little less than 9 cents per Kilowatt. Sacramento is anywhere from 28-32 cents. And my air quality index is 0-50. Sacramento is 50-120+.
