The Jewish people were in Israel thousands of years before the Muslims came as conquerors. So, to claim that their white European people? Even today less than 30% of Jews claim European lineage.

66% of the Population of Israel are descendants of Jews who were already in Israel. About 2% are descendants of Arabs already in Israel. Rest are Europeans and Americans.

When Israel became a country in 1947 there were less than 175,000 Arabs living in Israel. Over 600,000 Jews were there in 1947. It shows that Jews were not newcomers in 1947; they were a large, established community.
