Should any federal funds go to any public or private schools?

ABSOLUTLEY NOT. Only schools that should get federal funds are schools that are federal schools. Below would be exceptions.

Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA)

Schools for children of U.S. military personnel on bases in the U.S. and overseas. These are federal schools, but only for military families — not the general public.

2. Bureau of Indian Education (BIE)

Schools serving Native American students on tribal lands.

3. Military academies (secondary-level prep schools)

A few specialized federal academies exist (e.g., the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School), but these are not general K–12 schools.
