We now have three countries in South America who are Conservative or lean right. And possibly a fourth will be added soon.

Conservative Jose Antonio Kast has been elected as Chile’s next president, defeating his communist opponent and joining Latin America’s rightward surge.

After the next election, Columbia will join Chile, Argentina, and Ecuador.
