DOA. Governor Katie Hobbs Rolls Out New Budget Proposal Eliminating Border Security, Repealing School Choice Law, And $40 MILLION For In-State College Tuition For Illegal Aliens
Dead on Arrival. that's what will most likely happen to Hobbs budget proposal. Of all days, she proposed this on Friday the 13th. How she thinks that this will ever pass is beyond belief. It calls for the defunding and total elimination of Arizona’s ‘Border Strike Force,’ $40 million for illegal immigrants to receive in-state tuition rates, and the repeal of a new school voucher law giving school choice to all families.If anything they should increase funding for prisons to house the undocumented.
State Representative Joseph Chapik tweeted, “Katie Hobbs isn’t serious about protecting the border and stopping human and drug trafficking,” then said her policies are “rolling out the red carpet to illegals.”
Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen assured Arizona on Twitter that this budget proposal was “DOA” at the Republican legislature. Petersen said they will approve a budget “that will not California our Arizona.”
