Winning for now. Attack Doctors bill in California put on hold. You may or may not know, but there was a bill in California that the loony tune governor signed. It basically says that if your a doctor or scientist who doesn't agree with junk science, you would lose your medical license.
A California judge on Wednesday issued a preliminary injunction blocking Governor Gavin Newsom’s Covid ‘misinformation’ law.
A new California law, known as Assembly Bill 2098, would allow the Medical Board of California to ‘discipline’ doctors who spread Covid ‘misinformation.’ Of course ‘Covid misinformation’ is anything that doesn’t fall in line with the Democrat-Pharma-Media complex.
A group of medical doctors and scientists brought suit. Court recognized them as having standing. Said the law violates their First Amendment rights and constitutional right to due process.
Under the law, the Medical Board of California and the Osteopathic Medical Board of California could discipline physicians who “disseminate” information about COVID that is not in line with the “contemporary scientific consensus.” The preliminary injunction temporarily halts the implementation of the law while the case is tried in court.
