Consumer Product Safety Commission member Richard Trumka Jr. got some on the right all upset when he came out and said (he acting on his own) was looking at banning gas stoves. He has as much power to ban gas stoves as I do.

Well a lot of folks got upset cause one the cost to switch over, two electric stoves are more  expensive to operate, and three your food does not taste as good.

He then back tracked and said we're just looking at new stoves, not your existing stoves. Guess what? He got bitch slapped by his boss the head of the Consumer Product Commission. I quote.

“But to be clear,” Hoehn-Saric said, “I am not looking to ban gas stoves and the CPSC has no proceeding to do so.”
